spare a thought for the old country…

Truly amazing conditions – 31 centimetres of rain in a 24 hour period – claimed to be the most rain on record since records began, and also said to be a 'once in a thousand years' event.

Interesting that the windows at the National Trust shop are still intact, despite what must be quite a pressure against them. Extraordinary material is glass.
