Dalsland is an incredibly beautiful area. In our little kommune (population under 10,000) with an area of 1059 square kilometres (408 sq.miles)
we have 399 lakes bigger than 1 hectare.
There are many from other countries who have holiday homes here and it is an area that attracts many tourists every year.
So in my small country area we have Norwegians, Germans,Dutch,English, and on special occasions we celebrate together.
