ah. You mean paying the extra tax of taking it themselves to another place. So what the article means is that they have not actually reduced waste by 20% but that they have just reduced the collection of waste by the 'trash collection services'. Does this mean that if you recycle all your own waste there will not be any charge? It does not mean that in my area of Sweden. I pay a standing charge regardless and then pay an extra charge every time they collect. If I recycled all my waste, I would still pay a tax. . PS. We do recycle most of our waste, so I am not against recycling but all for it :)

It does not mean that in my area of Sweden. I pay a standing charge regardless and then pay an extra charge every time they collect.
