It seems to have been a strange summer this year here in Dalsland. Some really freaky electric storms and it must have been a real puzzle for the weather forecasters, who seem to have been off-target quite a bit this summer. Unusually so it's fair to say.
But, as you may know, my wife is from Rognan in Saltdal, North Norway. They've had a pretty weird summer as well……..but this has to be about as weird a thing as I've ever heard in this respect….
Yep. September and the apple tree is in blossom…again! If it carries on like this they'll be picking pineapples in December up there inside the Arctic Circle (Rognan lies within the Arctic Circle).
