Moonlight shimmering across the frozen lake
Moonlight playing hide and seek amongst the minimal clouds and teasing with tinselled rays across the frozen Vestre Silen lake

coffee art-0010
I was in Bengtsfors yesterday – new front shock absorbers on my fantastic 12 year old Mitsubishi Space Wagon,
collected wood panel my room renovation…and went for a 'coffee experience' to Camera IT
They have some really phenomenal special coffee that they get from Johan & Nystrom's coffee roastery
You could never believe coffee could be so exciting until you have been to Camera IT….really.
(I'm sitting writing this with a cup of freshly ground coffee called Pineapple Thief, truly a whole different
morning experience)

Veterinär
The Veterinar in Arjang is such a nice guy - and he was so amazingly compassionate and
helpful when my old cat (21.5 years old) Mary Pickford died at midsummer, that I
wanted to find a way to say a meaningful Thank You to him. So I decided I could
make him a website - in memory of Mary Pickford

Sweden still a top country for Credit Rating
and just in case you wondered – since this is a blog about SWEDEN – S&P still has Sweden as a top rated AAA (see here)
and the same as Germany, Storbrittania, Switzerland, to name a few that manage to stay at the top.

Storm damage from very very high winds
and 3 panels were ripped off completely but amazingly seem to fly right over the house (and
tv mast) to end up on the other side of the road at the front of the house. That must have
been some freak wind as this roof has been there for 25+ years.

At last some snow…but…
According to the weather forecast HERE this is as close as we
will get to a White Christmas. It will probably have disappeared by
Christmas Day (the snow not the squirrel)

SvärdlĂ¥ng Lake in Bengtsfors Kommune
This is a trial video which just about shows this lake. It had previously been unviewable from the E172 road due to the heavy forestation. Some cutting has now taken place and the lake is just about viewable. It's one of over 300 lakes in Bengtsfors Kommune which is only 890 sq.kilometres and has just 11 people per sq.kilometre.

Tanker crash on E6
Not very often, thankfully, that something like this happens I hope no-one was injured. I travelled this route yesterday with quite high winds causing occasional problems. It is a reminder to us all just how much we rely on the Police and safety services. Imagine having to deal with this – and you are not even quite sure what chemicals are causing the explosion/fire. Risky work!
